Hot Stone Therapy
The ultimate relaxation Massage.
Hot Basalt Stones provide a healing climate for muscle repair, as well as a very deep level of relaxation. The heat infuses into the muscles giving a greater range of movement and lowering pain levels, including arthritis pain. One stroke with a hot basalt stone is equivalent to ten normal Massage strokes.
Remedial Foot Massage
Are your struggling with foot pain?
For neglected and problematic feet this treatment soothes and revitalises, whilst stimulating circulation. Focused on relieving pain in the feet and legs from conditions such as bunions, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, heel pain and arthritis. Your feet will be immersed in our Magnesium Balm to help relieve fatigued and stress feet.
Dry Needling is the use of fine needles applied directly into the muscle. These needles are used to redirect nerve impulses when damage or tension is occurring. A fine needle is inserted into Trigger Points located within the muscle that is causing the tension and pain. The needle is so fine, that the treatment is virtually painless.
How Dry Needling is different to Acupuncture
Dry Needling is not the same as Acupuncture, although there are similarities for Musculoskeletal treatments between the two techniques. The main difference between Dry Needling and Acupuncture is the theory behind how the two techniques work. Dry Needling is focused on the reduction of pain and restoration of function through the release of Trigger Points in muscle. In comparison, Acupuncture focuses on the treatment of a range of conditions by restoring the flow of energy (Qi) through key points in the body (Meridians) to restore balance.
